We are all capable of healing and wellness to live full and healthy lives, to seek balance, and to feel more fully alive and connected to those around us. Experience healing and growth as we tap into the arts, nature, music, movement, mindfulness, and embodiment practices.
Background
Throughout my life, I’ve found solace and healing in the tranquility of nature. Initially retreating to the woods near my parent’s house, my connection with nature deepened through exploration—forests, rivers, and mountains became my sanctuary during times of hardship.
In my 20s and early 30s, this affinity for nature and a passion to foster harmony between people and the land led me to embark on a career in community-based watershed conservation. Working in diverse communities, I dedicated myself to enhancing watersheds, recognizing the intrinsic link between a healthy environment and a thriving community. Water, as the life force, played a central role. Concurrently, I underwent my own healing and personal growth journey.
As I delved into the intricacies of watersheds, geology, environmental social justice, and community initiatives, I found myself pondering new questions. What does it truly mean to be in a relationship—with ourselves, our partners, families, communities, and all life on earth? How can we initiate personal healing to contribute to the well-being of our communities and the shared outdoor spaces we cherish? This led me to this unique, holistic path of combining nature with therapy and coaching.

Theory
I’ve found answers to my questions through the people and communities I’ve worked with.
Being a holistic human means being connected to our surroundings—people, plants, animals, and life around us. It involves engaging all our senses through creative expressions like dance, music, art, movement, food, and culture. As humans, we want to be our authentic selves, share with loved ones, care for our communities, connect with the natural world, and live fully in body and spirit. Being holistic today means being in touch with our emotions, with others, finding meaning in daily life, connecting to our food, culture, communities, and the natural world. It’s about seeking support when needed and embracing our shared humanity for a more vibrant wellness.
